Cambiata- Key of F or G

Choose one of the following songs to prepare (note: You are allowed to transpose to any key available, but you need to bring sheet music to your audition if you sing in a different key)

Your second song is a song of your choice. It can be from the Art Song, Folk Song, Musical Theatre, or pop styles. It is a free choice to demonstrate your vocal technique and musical ability. Please bring sheet music for your free choice selection.

A short sight reading excerpt will be given. You will be given one minute to look over the example before you are asked to sing. You will perform this sight reading example a cappella. You may use solfege syllables or a neutral vowel to sing the melody. The melody will include skips from the tonic and dominant triad.

A short written prompt will be given to conclude the audition.
