The theatre department welcomes applicants of all experience levels with a serious commitment to the study of theatre. Prior performance experience is not necessary. All applicants must prepare and memorize two contrasting monologues from the selections posted here on our webpage. Each applicant’s monologue performance will be evaluated on imagination, focus, voice, physicality, characterization, and honesty. 

Additional components of the audition process include a cold reading, an interview, and an on-demand writing prompt.

The selections posted are for males, females, and gender-neutral characters. Please choose two that contrast slightly in tone (i.e. - one more serious, one lighter)
